The Fort Bend ISD Police Department, Safe and Drug Free Schools Department, and the Fort Bend Community Prevention Coalition, will sponsor the Drug Enforcement Administration’s “National Drug Take Back Initiative” on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the parking lot at FBISD Mercer Stadium, 16403 Lexington Blvd. in Sugar Land. This event is an opportunity to clean out your medicine cabinet of old, expired or unwanted medicine. One purpose is to ensure that our youth don’t have access to prescription medications, which can lead to abuse and addiction. Another purpose is to have an environmentally safe way to dispose of medications rather than our water system. See you Saturday!
