The penny drive hosted by ACES, Asia Culture Exchange Society, for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is well underway. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is the world’s largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer and exists to find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients. The money we raise will be used to fund scientific research for drugs to help these patients live a normal life. Two years ago, Clements raised close to $2000 for the organization, and we’re hoping to raise even more this year. However, to do so, we need your help! Bring any spare change to your 5th period class and the top two classes to raise the most amount of money by the end of the campaign (11/21), will be awarded with pizza parties!
