Clements High School is proud to announce that Lubna Lorena is our campus 2015 Teacher of the Year!
Lubna received her BS in Mathematics and Physics from Lahore College for Women in Pakistan and completed her MA in Mathematics and Information Systems from Northeastern University. She started her teaching career in 1995 thru 2001 in Alief ISD then moved to Fort Bend ISD in 2001 where she currently teaches Computer Science at Clements High School. Her strong knowledge in the area of Computer Science combined with her ability to design curriculum, assess student work and engage with the professional community has enabled a myriad of contributions to Clements Computer Science program. Through continuous professional development, she has become a master teacher skillful in presenting complex technical material in a logical, coherent and interesting manner to students and to specialists. Her commitment to high quality teaching and academic research, while fostering a positive learning environment for her students, is reflected in the competitive success of Clements High School Computer Science Program.
Lubna is highly respected among her peers, students and the professional learning community. She will definitely represent Clements High School well in her role as 2015 Teacher of the Year!
