NJROTC Qualifies for State Competition

This past weekend, Clements NJROTC competed at the State-qualifier meet at Dekaney High School. Only one team out of 19 could qualify for State from the Dekaney meet…Clements beat out 18 other schools to qualify!

There are 58 Navy JROTC programs in the State and each year the top 16 teams qualify to participate in the State Championship meet at Texas A&M University. This is Clements second time in two years to qualify.

Of special note, one of our senior cadets, Melissa Rodriguez, won a medal for coming in second overall in push-ups – she did 63 full, Marine style push-ups.
