CHS Students One Step Closer to International Physics Olympiad Competition

Congratulations to the following 4 students who are one step closer to representing the United States at the International Physics Olympiad competition in Mumbai, India July 5-12, 2015.

Hans Li, Wilbur Li, Jeffrey Zhang, & Fan Zhou

scored at least 18 out of 25 placing them as one of the top 384 students in the NATION on the qualifying F=MA exam taken in January. Only 27 students were selected from Texas. They are now Semi-Finalists and are invited to take the 3 hour USAPhO exam the week after Spring  Break which will determine if they are selected as one of the 20 members of the Physics Team to attend a 10-day training camp in May where they are tested one final time to determine the 5 member “Travelling Team”.
