Thirty-two Clements students earned spots in the Region 13 Honor Choirs this past weekend. Twenty-one singers plus two alternates will advance to the Pre-Area audition in December.

On Thursday, April 10, and Friday, April 11, the CHS Choirs earned 4 sweepstakes trophies with straight 1’s from all the judges.

Attention 8th graders interested in choir:
You are invited to the Choir Showcase Dinner on Tuesday, February 3rd, from 6:00-7:00 PM in the CHS Commons. Come enjoy pizza, listen to the amazing choirs from Clements, Fort Settlement, and First Colony, and make new friends while learning about Choir.
This is for 8th grade students only who are planning to enroll in choir next year or interested in enrolling in choir.
This past weekend, 12 Clements Choir students competed at the TMEA Area G Audition after 6 months of preparation. Every student who competed was a winner who worked extremely hard to reach this point. In the end, 7 Clements choir students were selected as members of the 2015 Texas Music Educators Association All-State Choir.

Shreya Bhadriraju was named as a Houston Young Artist musician and will perform a concert on January 17th at Stude Hall at the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University. She will submit an entry to the National Competition as well.
