State Swimming Results

At the State swim meet, the boys 200 free relay consisting of Colin Crow, Alex Nork, Colin Walton, and Jonathan Drewes finished in second place, met the automatic All-American time standard, and went the 8th fastest time in Texas high school history.

Jonathan Drewes finished second in the 50 freestyle, met the automatic All-American time standard, and went the 18th fastest time in Texas high school history. He also finished second in the 100 freestyle, met that automatic All-American time standard, and went the 26th fastest time in Texas high school history for the 100.

Swim District Meet Results

Both of our swim teams won District titles over the weekend.

We also had two pool and three school records broken. Jonathan Drewes broke a 16-year-old pool record in the 50 free, and he set a school record in the 100 free. Jonathan earned District MVP. The boys 200 free relay consisting of Alex Nork, Colin Crow, Colin Walton, and Jonathan Drewes also set a pool record.
